Memories from Years Lost in Darkness tells the story of my life through the years 2020 and 2021, through which the world grappled with a global pandemic and I struggled with increasing self doubt and feelings of isolation. Each track of the album represents a facet of the art I created and produced during this time so full of sadness and pain, and together they bridge across many genres and forms of music to show my journey to find meaning in music and life through uncertain times. The tracks range from virtual school projects to fiddle tunes and livestreams recorded and posted in the early hours of the morning to improvisations and meditations where I try to articulate through music that which I didn’t have enough confidence to say in words. I hope you enjoy the ripples of sound which made up my life through these years so full of darkness and change...
